2 chronicles

2 Chronicles continues the history of Judah with a central focus on the temple, worship, and covenant faithfulness. From Solomon’s dedication of the temple to the reforms of faithful kings, the Lord makes clear that blessing flows from wholehearted devotion and humility before Him. When leaders seek the Lord, He grants strength and restoration; when they forsake Him, decline and invasion follow. Despite seasons of renewal, persistent rebellion ultimately leads to exile, fulfilling the warnings of the covenant. Yet even in judgment, the book closes with a call to return, revealing that the Lord remains ready to restore those who seek Him.
