Joshua records the Lord’s faithfulness in bringing Israel into the land He swore to Abraham. Under Joshua’s leadership, God fights for His people, topples fortified cities, and establishes their inheritance according to His promise. Yet possession of the land requires courage, obedience, and wholehearted loyalty to the covenant. As the book closes, Joshua calls the nation to choose whom they will serve, reminding them that the Lord alone has delivered them. Joshua reveals that God fulfills His promises with power, but His people must remain steadfast in covenant faithfulness.
