Ezra

Ezra records the Lord’s faithfulness in stirring the hearts of kings and exiles to return to Jerusalem after captivity. Under Zerubbabel, the altar is rebuilt and the temple foundations are laid, restoring worship even before security is secured. Years later, Ezra leads another return, calling the people back to the Law and confronting compromise within the community. Opposition and weakness surface, yet God preserves His covenant purpose through repentance and renewed obedience.
