Ezekiel prophesies to the people of Judah during exile, revealing the glory, holiness, and authority of God even far from the temple. Through vivid visions and powerful signs, the Lord exposes the depth of Israel’s rebellion and explains the justice of the coming destruction of Jerusalem. Yet judgment is not the end of the story, for God promises to gather His people, give them a new heart, and restore what was broken. The prophet speaks of renewed life, a faithful shepherd, and a future where the Lord again dwells among His people. Ezekiel shows that though God disciplines in righteousness, He also restores in mercy, for the sake of His name.
