Hosea

Hosea reveals the Lord’s covenant love through the painful picture of a broken marriage. As Israel turns to idolatry, the prophet’s own life becomes a living sign of God’s relationship with His unfaithful people. Though judgment is declared and discipline is certain, the Lord’s mercy continues to pursue those who have turned away. He calls His people to return, promising restoration, renewal, and a future where they will again know Him as their God. Hosea shows that even in the face of deep unfaithfulness, the Lord remains steadfast in His covenant love and is willing to redeem what has been lost.
