Micah proclaims the Lord’s judgment against injustice, idolatry, and corrupt leadership among His people. Though outward religion continues, God exposes the failure of leaders and the oppression of the vulnerable, making clear that covenant unfaithfulness will not stand. Yet alongside warning comes promise, as the Lord declares that He will gather a remnant, restore His people, and raise up a ruler from Bethlehem who will shepherd in strength and peace. The book closes with a vision of God’s mercy, forgiving sin and remaining faithful to His covenant. Micah reveals that the Lord requires justice, humility, and faithful obedience, and that His purposes will prevail through both judgment and restoration.
