Habakkuk

Habakkuk wrestles with the justice of God as the prophet questions why evil is allowed to persist and why judgment comes through a nation even more wicked. In response, the Lord reveals that He is not absent, but working according to His purposes, and calls His people to live by faith in the midst of uncertainty. Though judgment will come, it will not have the final word. The book moves from questioning to confidence, ending in a declaration of trust in the God who saves. Habakkuk shows that even when His ways are difficult to understand, the Lord remains righteous, sovereign, and worthy of unwavering faith.
